Donations
Donations support our organization's work in individual, family and systems advocacy. Over 4,000 people in Kalamazoo County have developmental disabilities. Your donation supports our mission to make it possible for each person with a developmental disability to participate fully in all aspects of the community and to support the efforts of each individual to determine their own future.
In 2009 we directly advocated for 380 individuals and families on 841 issues of concern to them, and as a part of the process helped 234 improve their own skills for self advocacy. With continued support from the community, we hope to make an even bigger difference in 2010. Every donation, big or small, can make a huge difference in someone's life.
